Neon/Glow in the dark This is a cool theme!

invites:

For the invites oriental trading has neon badges. They are neon nylon necklaces that have a clear plastic case. You need to make the cards on your computer using the business card maker on your computer or just use the MS Word. You might want to put a really big VIP in color and on the back at the top Nicole's Neon Bash in cool color and font and then the party info, who what when.

Oriental trading sells Neon gangster hats.

Glow in the dark bracelets and necklaces, lot of sites have these.

Movie night.

Oriental trading sells a decoration kit for this that is pretty cheap and other items for it like a banner, etc. :

Have a costume party and have your friends come dressed like a movie star or singer they like or have it be like a premier and have every dress up and have a red carpet (oriental trading).

For favors oriental trading sells black, gold and red metallic beads, directors photo keychain, sunglasses, etc. Also since you will watch a movie in the dark, get some glow in the dark necklaces and items (dollar store, oriental trading)

Get a movie camera pinata at amazon.com or party cheap.

Rent a cool movie to watch. Have boxed movie theater candy for guests to eat (dollar stores sell them). Also buy fun candy like ring pops, sour candy, lighted lollipops.

Buy pizzas or buy the already done personal pizza crusts and have all the toppings and let everyone make their own pizzas. Then after that have a sundae bar with different ice creams, sprinkles, sauces, whipped cream.

Limbo

Kiss the poster: Get posters of popular movie actor or singer like Jonas brother etc (and if a coed party get a female one). Put bright red lipstick on the guest (use a q tip for hygiene reasons) and then blind fold them, spin them and set them in from of the poster on a wall. They have to kiss the poster. The guest who comes closest to the real mouth of thew actor/singer wins a prize.

Invite:

Use the movie night invites from oriental trading, buy VIP passes from party cheap, or make your own passes using the neon badgeholders from oriental trading (just use your computer with cool colors, fonts and put VIP on one side and party invite info on the other side.

Luau, beach Hawaii: Orientaltrading has the coolest decorations and favors for this theme and the cutest tropical invitation in the bottle. Give your guests leis as they come in. Play Limbo, Hula hoop, and have a few grass skirts and everyone (including the guys) have to give hulaing a try. Again if you have room to do this at home or you can rent a small room.
