I need an idiot's guide to making a blend on Photoshop Paint Pro 7.04?

I'm pretty useless at things like this and I'm using the programme Jasc Paint Pro 7.04.

I really need step by step instructions to it because I really don't have a clue lol !

Check youtube, it has good tutorial videos for photoshop.
