I'm 19 and I was told Medicaid covers all the expenses for my braces.I need an orthodontics who accept health plus/Medicaid.

do you know anyone or u heard about someone who is good,I need a private one because I don't wanna waste my time going to a big hospital waiting for a big line and appoint every 2 months..I'm sure most private accept Medicaid..Bronx will be better however,other location is not a problem as long as the orthodontic is good and experienced.my case is a little complicated.it may require implant as well.so let me know..thanks in advance.u can email at

  1. Well, unless you were told by MEDICAID that they pay all expenses of braces, I wouldn't believe it.

    And - newsflash - most orthodontists won't TAKE medicaid, because they don't pay well.  Medicaid - welfare health insurance - is the bottom of the barrel.  You can't get the top of the line guy.  IF medicaid covers orthodontics in your state, you'll have to get in line with all the other Medicaid people to see the maybe one orthodontist in your area that will take a Medicaid patient.  

    Most private orthodontists do NOT accept medicaid.  

    Call the number on the back of your card, to see 1. if it's covered at all and 2.  who the orthodontists are, who do take Medicaid.
