ive just had the coil out bout 6 months ago and been trying to concive bonking like rabbits but no joy in being pregnant yet how long will it take and which position is best as willing to try them all with pleasure

missionary and doggy style allow for the deepest penetration, and having an o****m relaxes you r muscles and suctions the sperm into the cervix. you have a 20-25% chance each month to conceive, depending, how old are you? take  a multivitamin every day to make sure your body is in prime condition. if you have any more questions just ask me.

I have heard that laying on your back afterwards helps the sperm to travel to the egg.

Have s*x every OTHER day from end of one period to start of next (no more, no less) missionary position, when finished lie on bed or wherever you are for 10 mins with a cushion under your bum and your knees bent up. Good luck and baby dust winging it's way over.

you do not need to see gp like everyone says!! I tried for baby after loosing one and like you were at it day and night!! Just relax and honest it will happen! Don't just have s*x to have baby as it will kill the two of you and the passion! Try putting pillows under your bum after you've had s*x and lay there for while!! Honest just chill 6 months is nothing but i do understand! x

After 6 months without success you might need to check with a doctor. As for the best position, you should be on the bottom with a pillow under your butt, make the v****a as straight up and down as possible. After he has ejaculated, he should withdraw immediately and you should stay in position for a half hour or so (to keep the s***n in place). Good luck!

Hi,

6 months of TTC and no luck - either your timing is way off or you need to see your GP.

First step would be to make sure that you are actually ovulating and timing you BD around ovulation. (see yahoo groups link below)

Second step is to make sure hubby has live and kicking little swimmers, a home sperm test can help determine this for you.

If you use OV tests and hubby has live spermies and continue trying without success go and speak with your GP, they can do other tests and offer lots of other help and support.

I don't know about the "coil" but i know that the "missionary" position would be a great position. Are your cycles normal and do you chart them? this is also instrumental in becoming pregnant because you would need to try when you are most fertile around ovulation. Good Luck!

I would say the best is when he is on top as gravity does some work. And also doggy-style is good for conceiving. GL and Baby dust to you!!
