I need answers!!!!! please!?

help...i didnt mean to file a claim for a lost refund tax check...i already got it...and thought it was for the stimulus can i cancel my claim!!! ahhh!?

You can call the IRS at 800-829-1040.  They should be able to let you know what to do.

The IRS will investigate the claim once it's received.  If their system shows you've already received the refund, they will send you a letter stating that fact.  All you would have to do at that point is just let them know you've received the check, and they'll close the claim.
