  1. if you have a job and there is a "get it now" store near you, you can get the furniture and make payments on it.

as long as you always make your payment on time this also helps your credit.  & they have a lot of stuff there to choose from.

(and trust me, almost everyone gets approved as long as you have a job!)

  2. Well bedding is NOT supposed to be re-sold/re-cycled, however if it was from someone you knew VERY WELL, like a relative or very good friend, that would be different.

For the L.R. you could go to a good thrift store, or salvation army place. They usually do have some nice pieces, BUT look them over very carefully especially at the joint parts as right now there has been a resurgence in bed-bugs. Not saying these places have them, because I believe they do fumigate, but just that bed bugs are showing up again all over the place.

Another place you could try is unpainted furniture stores. Their stuff is usually pretty good too.

If you're handy you can make anything look pretty good & usuable.

  3. Check Thrift stores, garage sales, goodwill, the salvation army, and discount furniture stores in your area. Me and my girlfriend got a really nice couch for $50 at a thrift store. Wal-Mart is also a good place for some cheap furniture, but you usually get what you pay for there. I'd say buy used
