I need braces. Please help..its a price thing

I need braces only on the top of my mouth. Is it possible to just get braces on the first four teeth rather than the whole top mouth. I have just a small gap between my two front teeth. Its just a small space but its noticable when u get upclose. How much will it cost to just get the first 4 teeth braced on the top of my mouth. Please estimate or range. My teeth are in great condition and im 16. Also, like i said, I have a small gap, how long will i need braces for?

The best thing to do is go to an Orthodontist for a consultation and get all the information you need.  They always let you pay monthly on braces.

You should be able to get braces for free but you will need full braces for it to work properly and bottom teeth ask your dentist to reccomend an orthodontist for you and they should be able to tell  you if you can get them for free or not

if you have to pay it probably means your teeth are ok anyway

You could try something called invaseline (or something). It's just a filling between the gap. It's cheaper than getting braces

ok I know you said that you only have a gap between your to front teeth but if you only get the braces on the first four teeth and they tighten up that will create a gap between some more teeth so you would probably have to get your whole top.  If you have insurance it should cover most of it so you wont have to pay alot or they could be totally free depending on your financial situtation

You will still need braces for about a year. Yes, you can probably get them on the top. Another option that you may like more, and will be faster is Invisalign. You sound like a good candidate for that... However, you should check with your Orthodontist, they usually always give a free consultation. Also, there is CareCredit-many offices are taking this. It is like a credit card that almost everyone can get approved for, and you can just make payment on it!! So Check with your Ortho fora payment plan option or if they accept CareCredit. You may still be looking at about $2,000.

PS- I don't think you can get just the top 4 braced, because you need connection to the molar, and all your teeth may need to be moved or supported.

i think the best thing to do would be to get a retainer. if  you really think you need braces, then i recommend talking to your dentist and he/she will help you find a way to fix the gap.
