I need cheap Cruise from Galveston, Texas?

I need a cheap cruise preferably 7 day cruise in the month of December 2008 only from Galveston, Texas. I really need preferably under $600 dollars per person please.

For December departures from Galveston, you have the option of Carnival and Royal Caribbean.

However, the 7-day trips exceed your preferred budget.

You might want to consider the 5-day sailing on the Carnival Ecstasy.  They are very affordable starting at $349 per person/double occupancy for December sailings.

The most economical 7-day December sailings are Dec 7 and 14th on the Carnival Conquest starting at $649 per person/double occupancy.  Sailings later in the month are much higher due to the holiday season.

You can use the search engine at www.vacationstogo.com to narrow your search to departure port of Galveston and look at other dates.  Holiday time, March (Spring Break for Texas) and summer are the peak season and drive the highest prices.  

Royal Caribbean only departs from Galveston during the winter months.

I did a search on vacationstogo.com and there were no cruises for 7 days that under $600 per person. The cheapest cruise that I found was $649 a person. There's two cruises with the exact same itinerary as eachother, the first one leaving on December 7, and the other leaving on the 14th of December. Here's the itinerary:
