I need cheap plates?

Question

I am cooking an elegant dinner for my birthday because i love to cook

but I really want those really nice white plate

where can i find them for cheap

for about 50

i would settle for anything that looks like them

believe it or not, Chinet & Solo brands have some upper-end looking disposable dinnerware.  Try looking at the grocery store or supercenter (Walmart) type store.

If you have a big lots in your area or the dollar store. Lots of times they have nice cheap stuff.

Try a restaurant supply store.  They are used to selling in larger lots and for pretty cheap because restaurants loose soo many (dropped, chipped in the dishwasher, etc.)  The easiest way to find one of these stores is just to check out the yellow pages (either the old fashioned book or on the internet).  Good luck, that's a lot of meals!

dollar stores do have nice stuff from time to time

you may also want to check out Good Will or thrift stores-they always have lots of dishes, and even if they dont all match it will still look nice.
