  1. I have done a little bit of cheerleading myself but wasn't that good. Maybe ask your instructor for some one on one help. Just keep practicing you are sure to get the chants and routines down pat!

    Hope this helps!

  2. I hate to sound just like everyone else, but just keep practicing, and don't give up hope. It's still the beginning of the season, so you have plenty of time to learn. Practice in front of a mirror, and be very repetitive. Do each motion 10 times, and then go through all the motions 3 times a night. It seems like a lot, but it will be worth it. Remember to squeeze all of your muscles at all times. Be sharp. Don't be afraid to go slow at first, just so that you get the basic movement and placement right. Practice with a friend or two. Mirror each other. This will help if you forget the words or something. It's also a lot more fun w/ friends. When you're lying in bed about to go to sleep, run through all of the cheers and chants in your head. I've found that this helps me fall asleep as well. Maybe try writing each cheer down 3 times, while at the same time, thinking of the movements that go along with it. Maybe even have system where (when you're practicing at home) every time you have to pause in the middle of a routine, make yourself do 15 push-ups or sit-ups. Just whatever you do, don't give up. Trust me, you will get this down. In the words of Walt Disney, "If you can dream it, you can do it." I hope this helps, and good luck! Cheers!

  9. Well coming from a varsity cheerleader myself, Your only on the JV team so I think other girls are going through the same thing. All I can say is practice and really concentrate, Put your mind to it! Practice when you get home and just repeat the chants over and over!

Actually funny story that I can relate to I was in 7th grade (now I'm in 11th grade) And there was this huge football game against a rival team. And we were supposed to say the players names and do a back-handspring and I totally forgot! It was sooo embarrassing! But don't worry just practice after all it makes perfect!

    Best of Luck

  10. WHAT U SHOULD DO IS TIGHTIN UR FIST OR ARMS EVERY MOMENT U GET IN THE SHOWER, WALKIN , OR JUST DOIN NORMAL THINGS. AND TO REMEMBER THE CHANTS AND CHEERS JUST SAY THEM OVER AND OVER AGAIN

  11. Ask some of the other people with help or talk to the coach.

  12. practice,practice,practice

  13. just keep practicing.

  14. I know I will probably get reported, but what has this question to do with Sport,?

It should have been posted in entertainment

  15. Practice in front of a mirror at home. It really helps see what you're actually doing instead of what you think you're doing. To tighten your arms more, make a fist with your hand as hard as you can. To get in sync more, constantly keep doing the motions to your cheer when you're home. Also, repeat the words to the cheers in your head all the time; that will help you get the rhythm down.

    Good Luck!
