I'm gonna start doing weights and I need chest exercises. But I can't bench press or anything cause I don't have a bench. So are there any exercises that I can do with a barbell or dumbells, maybe possibly on the floor?

  1. If you really want to work your chest, you should consider buying a bench, as the bench press is a compound exercise vital for gaining muscle and strength in your chest. If you did buy a bench, you could do the flat, incline, and decline bench presses, as well as the dumbbell bench press, and the dumbbell fly.

Otherwise, your pretty limited to pushups. Do 20 sets of as many as you can do each set.

  2. Push ups!!! You don't need any equipment but your own body.

Oh, and you don't need a bench to press. Just lay on the floor. This can even be better because your elbows should never come down past the level of the bench when you are pressing, so the floor acts as a stop to keep your form good.
