  1. First off let them get used to there new home dont bother them for a couple of days, cockateils get stressed really easy.Get there wings clipped so they dont take off while you are training them. When they are settled in there new home, put on a pair of canvas gloves ( so they dont chomp you ) and try offering them some fruit or veggies, put your finger near there abdomen and say up keep doing this and eventually they will learn that you wont harm them, but dont let anyone scare them or you will have to start all over again. Once you get them on your finger you can try putting them on your shoulder! Good Luck

  2. I  have three cocktail's two i had since they was 3-4weeks old they are boys

but the third one she was very hard to tame i got her when she was 1years old she will run away when i will try to touch her.so i left her alone for the first few weeks but i keep visiting cage and talk to he ever day untile she  is conferable its going to take a very long time so be patient

if it's a girl good luck

but its best to get them when that are baby its much more easyer

  3. It's usually best to get birds young, and in my opinion, to get only one.  However, you can still tame both of them.  Take things one step at a time.  Talk to them daily.  You could try removing their food bowl so that they have to eat out of your hand.  Then again, you don't want them to starve, so if they completely refuse to eat from your hand, you'll have to put the food bowl back in.  In this case, you could hand-feed them special treats.  Some birds take up to a year to trust a person, especially if they're older birds.  Good luck.  :)
