  1. First you should apply for a local two year or four year college.  Your grade are good, but your not ranked do to your schooling so their is no way around that but to do a year in a school that is.

Also, you get to "grow up a little more around home and feel a little safer your first year in college".

  2. I would look into The Ohio State University.  I have heard that it is a good school.

  3. assuming that you're american, you can still get into colleges.  i'm not familiar with belford, but not having a rank doesn't mean you won't get in.   this just means that they will lean a lot more heavily on your standardized test scores.  you can look up the average scores for any college at http://princetonreview.com .  if your score is below theirs, it doesn't look so good for you.  if it is higher, you have a good chance (and maybe for scholarships!)

  4. Most colleges have a chart.  Admission is based on a combination of GPA and ACT or SAT scores.  Usually the higher your GPA is, the lower the test scores need to be, and the lower your GPA the higher your test scores need to be.  Unless you want to go to a super competitive school, not having a rank shouldn't be a problem as long as you got good scores on your ACT or SAT.

Choose a few colleges and look up their websites.  They should have their admissions info on the website.

  5. I think your best bet is to contact the admissions office of any college or university you want to attend. Ask to talk to an admissions counselor about your situation and how best to apply for admission since you might not have the same information as other students.

Did you take the SAT or ACT? If not, you might consider that so that you have those scores available.

I understand that homeschooled students are actually often preferred as they tend to be more well-rounded, independent, self-starters, etc. Be well-versed in your strengths and any other things you did this year besides school. You might be considered a non-traditional student as well.

You might find that taking your basic required courses at a junior or community college and then transferring would be a good idea as well.

  6. If you graduated a year late with a 3.19 and from home school then you're not going to have a lot of options, but someone will take you. I can't really say who unless i knew what state you lived in because you probably won't want to move 1,000 miles away to go to a community college or something.

  7. get tutors, listen, take notes,  etc

  8. Try University of NSW, University of Sydney, UTS, or Macquarie University I think that youll be able to get into at least one of them for sure. (all of these are in sydney)
