I need decorating help?

I am 12 years old and I want to decorate my room. I don't want to get a new bed spread or paint the walls. I want something I can make and put on my wall.

Right. Oriental Trading Company, buy a bunch of floral leis. attach to a string, and hang  them over your bed, as a faux headboard. The flowers would also look really pretty as curtains.

Consider buying some paint canvas. Paint them in bright colors, using a geometric pattern. Hang them on your wall as an installation. Keep the pattern simple if you use lots of color, or keep the color simple if you are going with complicated patterns.

Buy foam core, cover it with a cool fabric, hang on your wall.

You can use a stapler to keep the fabric taut.

Take some photos of your favorite places. Put them on the computer, then start playing with the color. Take the same photo, print it out in 4 different color tones, hang on your wall.

Take a length of twine. Cut several additional lengths, fold in half, and tie over the original length. add beads, shells, or just leave it plain, hang on the wall, cool art.

I do not know if you want to go funky, natural, pretty, punk, these are just a few ideas for ways to get new color without changing the wall color, and new texture without changing the bedding.
