I need dental coverage?

I fell and chipped my front teeth ... my nerves are exposed and hurt really badly when air or anything touches it ... I tried applying for medical but alameda county won't give it to me because I still live with my parent and im 20 (considered a minor by their rules) ... western dental quoted my a price of $3000 ... I cant afford that ... what can I do?

  1. I have a discount dental plan that saves me TONS of money on my dental expenses.

    If you visit www.DentalDiscountsPlus.com you can put in your address to see if their is a participating dentist in your area. Make sure there is before you sign up for their plan.  

    We pay $20/month for our entire family but I think they have an individual plan for little less.  I'd check them out.  Also - I think you can begin using the coverage ASAP - which would be nice, especially since you are in pain.

I would really look into a dental plan.  Discount dental plans are different than dental insurance because you have no yearly limitations and you have no high premiums.  You just pay anywhere from 80 bucks to 120 bucks a year and you get a percentage off the price.  You can do a search to find what dentists in your area are accepting this dental plans as well.  You can read more info about it here: http://www.affordable-dental.net/how-to-...
