Ok, I had been keeping my Ipod Nano on my ipod radio thingy and those charge the ipods so i never worried about charging my ipod and it had been working fine until my radio thing ran out of batteries, so every time i would try to play a song it would just stop and shut off so i thought if i put new batteries in the radio it would charge the ipod. Well i did and waited a few days, and my ipod still wouldnt turn on. So it was never turning on and I tried hooking it up to my computer and itunes doesnt recognize it and my ipod is now just flickering the apple logo on and off, it doesnt do anything else no matter what i push. Please help. What should I do??

  1. go to www.apple.com/support

  2. Firstly when ipod is on hold down menu and at the same time hold down the play button (it might be the other way round but im sure im right the 1st time lol).

This should restart your ipod (without deleting anything) if your ipod then becomes functional again, try reconnecting to itunes and if its recognized it might be worth restoring to factory settings to prevent it from happening again (you will need to reload your music agin though).  But its up to you!

The restarting rather than restoring always worked when my nano froze, good luck hope it helps.

Choose me for best answer please.

  3. i think that you messed up the battery.

ipods should only be charged for about 2 hours and if you kept it for more than that, then that might be the problem
