I need details on an accounting class?

i got an accounting class for one of my electives this year in hs.

what types of stuff do we do?

inother words is it just another mat class sorta?

Not really. You should be taught about money, and baking/business sort of stuff. It's not just about adding the money toghether, although in some ways it is connected to maths.

You'll learn stuff like debits and credits, double-entry book-keeping, assets, liabilities, revenues, expenses. profits and losses, etc. The only math you need are addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. If you had chosen finance, you'd need to know how to use a financial calculator. Lucky you.
