I need dishwasher help! Dishwasher lost power, not the outlet.?

I have worked on this thing a few times, but this one has me stumped. As I said, I have no problems with power to the outlet. It just stopped working. I did the usual tapping on the motor with a dead blow and the motor spins the way it should. I can't afford a new one right now and the old dishwasher doesn't want to do it by hand :-)

If you're familiar with electric, get the schematic and jumper the timer at different points, this is usually what causes sudden failure, not only in dishwashers but also washing machines.

  If the motor runs with the jumper then that leaves only the timer at fault.
