  1. If the door is made of wood... home depot has wains cot materials that can be painted or stained that look nice and can be cut around the hole. Or if the door is anothr material like metal... get some flat sheet metal and paint it with spray paint lawn furntiure paint to match. Remember, screen doors are usualy light weight so when the dog pushes through the doggie door the door might swing when the dog tries to come in or out based on your pups size, so you might want to add a little hook latch to keep it secure.

  2. Shouldn't you have kinda thought about that dog door installation a little more carefully?

  3. f its small you can make a doggy door in the screen door (google or use this site instructions)

If larger dog you just might have to remove screen door or keep open except when needed like when you are going in and out a lot. Or get a doggy door that goes in your wall instead of the door.

sorry Idon't know much as I haven't had this problem.

  4. I know you have a good answer to why you took all of that time to put in a doggy door when you had two doors.  If you can't prop the screen door open, or remove the bottom screen, if there is a bottom screen, your doggy door is useless. It would seem you put a hole in your door for nothing. I'm sorry you have had this problem.
