  1. You can play w/ play doh (you could let him help you make some also) use cookie cutters and a plastic fork.

Put some shaving cream on a table and let him draw in it (make

sure that it won't mess up the table)

Go on a nature walk and let him collect some leaves and a couple of blades of grass. Whenever you get back to the house, get a piece of paper and place the leaf or grass underneath it and rub a crayon over it to make a picture.

Make a tent w/ a flat sheet and some chairs and play the game that he chooses in the tent. You could also eat in there or play board games or color... ideas for a tent are endless.

You could have a scavenger hunt.

You can read books by flashlight in a dark room.

If you are wanting to do educational stuff, there are countless websites that you can use.. google "preschool activities" or "preschool lesson plans" and you will have many resources to choose from.  I like to use the website "childfun.com" when putting together lesson plans for my oldest daughter (4).

For food ideas, try "momswhothink.com" or just get creative... you can serve regular food but call it something fun. My children love to eat "green baseballs" (green peas- they came up w/ the name so I can't explain how they got it) for dinner, they like "ants" (raisins and/or craisins), "trees" (broccoli), the possibilities are endless... I can't think of any really creative ones right now but we definitely have some in our house! Use your imagination.

Try to imagine the world from his point of view and try to think of things that would be fun to him... think of the things that you liked when you were little.

Hope I could help some-Good luck!!!
