I am 20 weeks pregnant and I am sooooooooo bored!. My fiance and I use to spend our summers at the shore at happy hour - NOW- I am pregnant and we really don't know what to do on our free time. We really hate going to the movies and you can only go out to eat so many times a month. We are REALLY excited for the baby so the only thing we do is shop (and window shop) for our lil babe. What is there to do that doesn't involve drinking ?

  1. try doing creative things like decorating your belly with paint and jewels and taking lots of pictures, maybe even starting a while I was pregnant scrapbook for the baby!  Take parenting classes in your free time you can never be too ready for a baby or even sign-up for classes like art, dance, or anything that may interest you!

  2. Bowling, coffee houses, movies, going for romantic walks, spending time at the park, going for drives, romantic nights at home, visiting with friends, the list can go on and on.  Use your imagination.

  3. my husband and i (we also have a 3yr old) go on a weekend excursion once a month by ourselves and then once a month with our 3yr old.  when we go by ourselves, we just drive somewhere a couple of hours away or so and stay at a motel, bed and breakfast, etc.  we get up the next morning and knock around town (usually kind of a small town) and check out the shops, etc.  we also try to go to places that are near great hiking trails (easy ones) and other natural wonders-- we went one weekend to a state park that has 4 or 5 waterfalls-- you could drive the park to each waterfall and then walk down a path about 1/4 to 1 mile to see the waterfall.  it was a good time for us to just spend time together.

when we take our son on excursions we usually do the same thing go somewhere a little ways away from home, stay at a motel (sometimes a bed and breakfast)- and go on (historic) train rides, visit caves,  zoos or other family friendly things-- its a change of pace for all of us, gets us out of the house and usually doens't cost us that much at all.

  4. Perhaps if there's cash available have a short trip away - maybe a health spa of some kind. Relaxation - treatments etc... this will be good for both of you to take time out. I'd imagine real good for the baby also! Once the baby is born there may be a lot of sleep deprived nights so make the most of it. Relax and eat healthily. Good luck :)

  5. s*x...its great..cuz you know theres no chance of getting pregnant again...

actually me and my guy always went to museums..parks...

    and zoos....

when you get further along make a belly cast

  6. Have a picnic with picnic basket and all (buy or borrow one).  Plan the meal together, whether its sandwiches and chips, or something else.  Have sparkling cider and champaign glasses. It will be so fun to spend an afternoon at the park together.  Pack lots of snacks and drinks, take a radio.  Don't forget pillows and an extra blanket just in case it gets breezy.
