I need good ideas on funraising for a campaign for mayor of a city?

I wanted to know what fun ways I can raise money, like we have rallys every month. What can I do to bring money in at these events, and also on a regular basis?

Tell people if they donate now that you won't tax them when you get in office....It works for the Democrats.
