  1. definitely work on forearm passing using your legs and by not swinging your arms.

  2. A good drill that I use is the three person pass.

Stand where the setter sets the ball. Have the girls line up on the top of the court, in the back where the serving line is. Start with 3 girls in passing positions in the backrow. Have one girl in area 5, one in area 6, and the other in area 1. Toss the balls to the girls, and have them pass to you. After 1 of the girl gets a good pass, they rotate out, and the next girl in line comes. If the girls have trouble passing to you, limit it to 2 passes, then tell them they did good, and have them retreive the ball

    Hope this helps =D

My coach always says... if you can't pass, you cant play

  3. do it all as a team have them get in line and toss it to them then have then bump it back od set it.....

get on one side of the court and serve it to them (have like 4 ppl over there waiting) and have whoever it goes to hit it back

have them serve it to you

something that kids that age need help with is passing it to each other! have them do ALOT of that!

    good luck hope i helped!♥Savannah

  4. hmmm peppering is good....just gets them warmed up and in the momentum.

  5. my school does this drill where you pass across the net, then you run under the net to the wall touch it and get back in line.

We also play this game called dead fish. It's a great game to practice serves and aiming your serves. You just serve across the net and when you miss you go and sit on the otherside of the net. You sit until someone on your team hits you with the ball or catches the ball then you go up and serve more. The team with the last server wins.

A great drill to practice hitting is what we call the  butterfly drill. You set up your hitters on the outside and setters set them the ball, so they can hit it. To add passing to this drill toss the ball to the hitters from across the net and have them pass to the setter.

I hope your team does good!

  6. Have your students bump in a circle.  That always helps everybody with passing, controlling the ball, and calling the ball when two people are going at it at once.

Tell them to stand in a certain spot, and go after the ball wherever you throw it. That way they can move around and know how hard to hit the ball.

Have them serve so you can hit it back and forth to them. Go on as long as you can.

If they get really good at serving, teach them some basic over-hand serving.

Make them bump and set against a wall. It helps with keeping the ball under control.

Setting drills are pretty easy; just throw them the ball, or bump it and have 'em set it back to you.

    Hope this helps out,

    Coolio Person :)

  7. I can totally help you because im in 6th grade and I play volleyball. You should do those Suicide drills where you jump like you are blocking at the net then run back along the court lines while back peddling then while going sideways and stay LOW. Then sprint up towards the net and repeat 4 - 15 times.
