I am nineteen, and I am in college. I take Lit classes, so I spend a lot of time reading the great works of literature. I need books that I can just read to pass my time, though. My life is filled with stress and hardships in other areas, so I just want to relax when I read (i.e. happy books). I enjoy fantasy and even romance, but I won't limit myself to those. I mentioned my age so I won't be told to read Judy Blume. lol.

  1. On the Bright Side of Disaster

Pick up a Nora Roberts Trilogy (some are fantasy and romance)

I know that you are nineteen, but Meg Cabot's books are great.  Stay away from the "princess diaries" but The Mediator series is alot of fun.

Spanking Shakespeare had me laughing out loud the other day...

    Good Luck.

  2. I think one of the best non-fiction humor books that is a light read yet captivating emotionally and innocently is:

Bats, Brats, and Stats - George Brennan, Jr.

  3. Try James Herriot, "All Creatures Great and Small".  Or any Terry Pratchett--he always has an unforced happy ending.

  4. sharing sam

    when it happens

    take me there

    this lullaby

    the silver kiss

    blood and chocolate

nick and and norah's infinite playlist
