  1. alright well besides a 6'2 and all that,

you could try middle up defense,

    middle back defense,

or even perimeter for teams who hit line.

you can't just try one type of defense and say its a no-go though because lets say your in middle up and the team your playing never tips and always hits deep middle, then you probably won't do very well because the ball will be going right to where no one is standing

  2. its like a W and thats how you move just whoever is in the middle just make sure that you know if there the back middle or front and you guys should be fine C:

  3. Try this link:

I might be able to show you some more complicated stuff, but this one appeared to be clean and short.

Well, the more complicated one here:

  4. ive been doin this rotation for a couple years now......definitely takes a while too fully grasp....first tip, remember, no matter wher u are on the court, just worry about gettin to ur "base" or "home"..u will hav one "base" in the front row and one in the back row   also, u will always be "opposite" one person...like, if ur in the top right corner ur opposite is in the lower left hand corner, or if ur in top left ur opposite is in the bottom right, and if ur in the middle or opposite is rite behind u in the middle....jeez, that was confusing, i hope u understood it.....trust me, once u get the 6-2, it will be so easy....you wont believe y u coodnt understand it!!   so stick thru it!! ull get it eventually

  5. If everyone remembers their buddy (left and right) then you should be able to get back into the right rotation before the next play.

It also helps to stay with same rotation for all games unless subs are used.

Also, if you are in a 6-2 offense then the setters should be opposite of each other and if you have two middle hitters they should be opposite of each other. That takes care of 4 of them so I would hope the other 2 can find their spots before each play.

    Good luck

  6. My summer league volleyball team has this same rotation. (Hutto) Anyway just always remember your base. You should try to learn your teamates positions too, that way if they all forget you can tell them where to go. Its also actually better to know your teamates positions that way you can tell them where to go and so that when you get the ball you know the best person to get it too.

    .:Best of Luck:.

  7. definately google "volleyball rotations"..my coach used to print us out different rotations to try..it really helped...invest in taking the time making everyone a copy & going through it on the court with the paper in hand, explaining every rotation.

    i hope this helps =]

    maybe this would help.

    i love volleyball to death.

    but im only...

like im not gonna say my age.

    but yea.

    young.

my coach tells us when to rotate.

  9. make sure you remember your opposite. like, middle front has to be opposite the middle back, the outside hitters have to be opposite each other, and the setter and right side have to be opposite each other.

and rememeber, if you can't remember your position, go to your base, and act like you know what your doing
