I need help, my baby has a bad cold.

i need to know what to use between a warm mist vaporizer or a warm mist humidifier, what is the difference, and what is best for a babies snotty, stuffed up, runny nose? i ve been using a cool mist humidifier, and its not helping, in fact i slept in her room last night and it gave me a head cold. ive been using little noses and a bulb syringe and tylenol and vicks baby rub. i need to know why my cold humidifier isnt working and if a warm one would be better.. thanks sooo much!

  1. I've always been told to use cool mist. You didn't say how old your baby is, or where you live. You may not need the humidifier or a vaporizer, what's the humidity level there? Try using a vapor bath, Johnson & Johnson makes one. If all else fails, go to the doctor. It may not be clearing up because it's an upper respitory infection or something. Hope he/she gets better soon.


  2. I would take her to the doctor.  But I think that warm stuffs the nose up...
