I need help, wanna know more.?

My uncle has been in jail for awhile now for a crime he did not do. he was just act a place at the wrong time. he had a year to look at his case. its been 4 years now. and nothing has change. no new evidence, so they don't want to relook at his case. i wanna know what i can do for him. please help me. hes a great person. and they took too many year away from him already.

  1. Sadly there are times when innocent people go to prison. Since 4 years have passed and nothing new has happened with the case there is probably not much that can be done. You will also find that most cases have to be appealed on a point of law, meaning that during all the events leading up to his being incarerated, arrest through sentencing. If there was nothing that went against proper procedure then he has little change of getting out.


  2. If there is no new evidence there is nothing you can do.

    Note: Innocence Project is for people on death row, for crimes that DNA can prove otherwise.

    Actually, they have numerous cases that involve people who aren't on death row, though those don't get as much attention as the cases on DR.

  4. They don't leave you in jail for 4 years without substantial evidence. I assume the case was already appealed so nothing.

  5. Find a good lawyer and sue the police/... for wrongfull arrest
