  1. Coroner =p

  2. In various situations- a coronor, a medical examiner,  a forensic scientist, and a forenisc anthropologist.

    Usually, a coronor.

  3. coroner

  4. A Coroner

  5. autopsy, or post-mortem examination, is usually performed by a pathologist, or, to be more precise, an anatomical pathologist.

When autopsy has medico legal or forensic value a forensic pathologist (anatomical pathologist with specific or further specializaton) and a coroner (not necessarily a doctor) will perform the examination and collect data.

The coroner is a legal officer, not necessarily a doctor, not specifically dedicated to post mortem examination only.

In the USA the coroner is elected and doesn't need any specific qualification. In England they must be at least lawyers (but not necessarily medical doctor).  In Canada, they are generally medical doctors.

    Resuming

    - Anatomic pathologist: does autopsy

    - Forensic pathologist : an anatomic pathologist specialized in cases where the death can have direct legal consequences, or is under forensic examination for any reason

    - Coroner, in Anglo-Saxon countries only: an officer who collects the post mortem forensic examination data and findings to evaluate them. Can be a forensic pathologist or just an elected officer or a qualified lawyer
