"Commitment is what transform a promise into reality. It is the word that speak boldly of your intention. And the actions which speak louder than the words. It is making the time when there is none. Coming through time after time after time, year after year after year."

  1. The quote explains itself by defining the word commitment.

    Commitment:

    -Transforms a promise into reality

-Speaks boldly of your intentions (to follow through)

-Is an action that speaks louder than words

-Makes time when there is none

-Comes through time after time, year after year

  2. Those who have "stood the test of time".....those who have shown commitment..... through their thoughts, words and deeds....regardless of what life throws their way...those are they, who follow through.....time after time.

Not just a "lip service" promise.....rather a long lasting commitment through "thick and thin".   Intentions then, become reality.... when the road has been travelled long enough.....to realize the initial intention fully manifested in reality.

  3. Actions will get you further than just speaking. And working hard will have its rewards.

    Good Luck and God Bless!!

  4. Does it have to be a certain number of words or just one statement to explain the quote?

Commitment is the ultimate sacrifice.  It becomes the priority over everything else that is important in your life to make the dream come true.....something like that?

  5. its not what you say its what u do....acctually carrying out what u promise tranforms your word into reality...just think about - youll be fine

  6. this describes a person who does what they say, a person of their word, a person you can always count on, a honest person, a person with morals and is committed to whatever

he/she untertakes. this is a person you want on your side, this is a person you want as a friend.

  7. First of all, I'd like to say how saddened I am that your teacher chose this feel-good poster-quote.  But it is what it is.

Try taking it apart just like firstyearbabyboomer did and then give examples of each.  Someone who made a promise or had an obligation and followed through on it. Someone you know who's come through time after time. and so on.

Remember to take time to learn your presentation, write out the main parts on 3X5 cards, project your voice to the back of the classroom and make eye contact. Good luck!
