  1. umm

    try your best && hustle

if the coach see you trying to make it

then they will choose you because they kno  you will give it your all

  2. Whatever you do, have a good attitude. NO MATTER WHAT, this is important. Always be smiling, and encourage the other teamates when they make a good hit, or if they fool up say, "good try" or "nice hit!" Show up early for practice, you'd be amazed how much coachs like this. If you get a chance, make friends with the coach and talk to her/him. Help with putting up the net, and be really friendly to everyone. Don't ever feel sorry for yourself, this just shows a weakness, and you most def. don't want a weakness! Anyways , those are some important tips, VERY IMPORTANT! They may seem little, but really they are big.

    - dig ! dig ! dig !

    - hit & hit it hard ! Down, not a rainbow. Hit it DOWN.

    - BLOCK:) My favorite !

    - Make sure you volley it pretty high for the setter, because they set will be better then, and it's easier for the setter!

    - CALL EVERYTHING WHEN YOU ARE PLAYING A GAME. When the ball comes over, yell "GOT IT" or "MINE" or "HERE" it doesn't matter what you call, just do it! Keep your eyes on the other team, cause if you do you can predict what they are going to do sometimes.

Well, I have to go !

    but i hope i helped :) :)

  3. Practice!!! and show you are willing to try tour best!!  Coaches love that kind of sportsmanship!!! it will also help you if you plan to try out next year!!! Good luck!!! And have FUN!!! :)

  4. for sure u really need to do ur overhand serving that is the number one thing. since it can give u the most points in a game. otherwise u can work on ur bumping and ur setting.

  5. practice

  6. ALWAYS STAY UNDER THE BALL!

    DONT BE SCARED TO DIG!

    RUN!

    JUMP HIGH AND HIT HARD!

  7. Don't goof off! Be agressive!  Talk loudly [[calling the ball and sets]]!  Be confident!  Don't look defeated!

  8. 1) Don't swing your arms use your legs to push up to bump.

    2) Use your finger tips to volley.

    3) Have your thumbs pointing down when you bump.

    4) Always keep your eyes on the ball.

    5) Don't throw the ball when you serve.

    6) Have Fun!

  9. Have a fun, alive personality! Coaches like people who talk and joke with them!

  10. When passing the ball dont swing your arms, this will cause the ball to go crazy! Always keep your feet parallel and face your target (the setter).

When spiking the ball, left right left and jump (always use your arms to jump)

When setting, set the ball above your forehead, bend your elbows a little bit.

  11. listen carefully! dig all the balls! stay low! low! low!

run!! don't talk when your coaches are speaking!

show that you want a spot! be dedicated and motivated!

    GOOD LUCK!

  12. be confident and work hard

  13. get a good nights sleep, good breakfest. dont worry about the other people trying out, worry about yourself. if you mess up, shake it off and keep trying hard. good luck!

  14. just believe in yourself. don't worry about the others. what you have to do is show that you deserve to be in the team. coaches like to see hardwork, determination, and a lot of heart from their players. that's what you give them. goodluck =)

  15. Bend your knees, get under the ball. Don't lean in for the ball or hit it with your fist. Shuffle your feet a lot. When you set, push up with your arms and LEGS.

Most importantly, HUSTLE and have a GOOD ATTITUDE!

    Good luck.(:

  16. Whatever you do just have no fear.  Think, I want to be better then these girls and I am better.  Don't be scared of them, be excited for the competition that can make you so much better.  Never be afraid of your competetor or someone who you practice with.  Good luck!
