There is a hole in the wall about the size of a pencil eraser, does anybody know a way to inexpensively fix it like it never happened?

  1. painter's caulk or spackle and sand it.

  2. GET A SMALL CAN OF PUTTY AND A PUTTY KNIFE

AND FILL THE HOLE THEN PANT AFTER PUTTY DRYS

IF THE WALL IS WOOD GET WOOD PUTTY FILL AND STANE

  3. I think the best way to take care of a small hole like that is just to put a little bit of spackle on it, and then let it dry. When it's done drying, sand it and a little area around it. Repaint it with the same paint color that was used on the wall. If you don't have any more I would suggest Lowe's, because they have a color matching system. It will be very inexpensive and easy. Then just paint that small area you sanded, let dry. And there you have it ---- like it never even happened!

  4. Fill it with Tooth paste.  We did that when we moved from an apartment and needed to cover tail holes made for pictures.  When it dried you couldn't tell it from the white paint of the wall.

  5. The toothpaste idea is a good quick fix, but using Spackle is the way to go.
