2x^2(3x^2 – 5x – 2) =

What is the degree of this term:

4x^2y

1

2

3

4

(2x + 3)(3x + 1) = ( I think it's 6x^22+11x+3)

(x – 5)(x + 3) =

(5x2 + 3x - 7) + (x2 - 7x + 4) = ( I think it's 6x^2-4x-3)

(2x – 5) (3x – 2) =

  1. When it asks what the degree of a term or expression is, it means what's the highest power of let's say 'x'.

So for 4x ^ (2), the degree would be '2'.

    6x^2 + 11x + 3

    x^2 - 2x - 15

    6x^2 - 4x - 3

    6x^2 - 19x + 10
