I know that this question has been asked before, but i need to know how i can block websites. I have tried to go to tools, then to internet options, then to content and content avidsory thing and block the inappropriate stuff, but it blocks every website. I think that is the easiest way to block sites. I would like an explanation for the blocking of the website ( i mean i try yahoo.com, google.com, answers.yahoo.com, lyricsondemand.com etc.) I have also tried to go to tools, then to internet options, then to sercurity, then to resticted sites, and i tried to type in the websites I want blocked, but it contiunes to say "you must have the prefix https://" but when i add it, it contiunes to say that. I need the most simple way of blocking sites. HELP!!!

  1. Untick the box HTTPS

  2. best way to do it is a website blocker you can find these online.

  3. Well if you have Firefox, which most people do, you can easily find an add-on like that. It's not as complicated as it may seem.

The one below is like "PageAddict" and is meant to block websites that seem to be consuming most of your time so you can get stuff done. I think it should suffice.
