I need help buying a new video camera.?

Question

I would like a video camera just to take some simple home movies. I do not want to spend much money, but I want something decent. What is the best way to go? Digital? DVD? Flash memory? Please help!!

All new camcorders are digital, regardless of what they're recording to.  MiniDV camcorders still give the best bang for the buck - look at the entry level models from Canon, Sony, JVC or Panasonic.

video cameras are so much better than than they use to be.  They are all digital now and have memory sticks.  Here's a site that has a variety to choose from in a variety of prices.  Good luck!
