i need some help with some ideas for flying alone like what to bring it will be warm and i need some ideas of what to do because i am flying alone and i am 10 i need ideas of what 2 do on the plane it is a 12 hour flight to switzerland and i do not know what 2 bring or do on the flight i have a gameboy and mp3 i know what books to bring and i love harry potter but i have 1 2 5 6 and none of the others so please tell me what i should do i am flying alone and have no idea what to do or bring to the flight i have untill the 6th because i leave then. please tell me what i should do and or bring. i am desprete!

It's great that you are planning ahead for your trip like this.  I have flown to europe several times and I think you will find it is not too boring.  Most flights end up being overnight flights so you can sleep most of the time.

Some flights also play movies but you will need earbuds.  I am sure the earbuds from your MP3 player will work.  Books are also a great way to pass the time because it is usually very quiet on the plane.  

If you can talk your parents into it, you can also bring a portable DVD player along with you and some of your favorite movies.  

This should be more than enough to make the time fly by.

My recipe for a fun flight is :

- mp3 player, full of new music

- a brand new magazine (maybe 2) to flip through when I don't like the in-flight movie

- a reubix cube (because I can spend all day and never figure them out - good time killer)

- a deck of playing cards (who knows, maybe you'll meet someone you can play with)
