  1. We like the same type of books. I just finished Copper Sun and I think you would love it!

  2. There is a book by Stephen King that is called "Hearts In Atlantis" that is set around the time of Vietnam and post war America. In actuality, there are about three or four stories wrapped in one which ties all the characters together in one way shape or form; it's a really good read. In fact, the next time you go to a Blockbuster, rent the DVD.

  3. Wicked is through the eyes if the  Witch of the West.  There is also a book called I, Mona Lisa, and it is about Florence and the Medici family through the eyes of a young woman.

  4. if you liked "i am the great horse" (which i was dying to read), try "blood red horse", its about the crusades, centering around a horse, nice fiction, POW from both sides of conflict

"queens own fool" is about mary queen of scots, also very good, a little sexual at times, but still young adult, from viewpoint of queens assistant

"watership down" is a tale about rabbits and the changing world, as seen by rabbits, i love it

cant think of any more at the moment, but hope i helped!!

  5. Twilight by Stephenie Meyers is a wonderful book....

  6. Donna Jo Napoli has written other books, the first one I can think of is called Sirena, which is kind of like a Greek 'Little Mermaid". I personally don't particularly like her books, but if you liked Beast I see no reason why you wouldn't, so some other somewhat historical books by her are Bound, Breathe, and The Great God Pan.

(There are more, too. Google it if you want.)
