  1. Chevy all the way!

    .

Dodge tells you what to do on their tail gate.

I tow toy hauler with my 2002 F350 7.3 and it is a great truck, but not as great as the Duramax

  2. GMC or Silverado

the only Dodges worth buying are the older

    Dodge Ram 2500 turbo diesel

Ford's are too expensive, poor mpg

    7 to 9 MPG Hauling 13500# rv.Only 12.5 empty

The 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD receives minor updates including standard XM Satellite Radio on all trim levels, an available power-adjustable driver’s seat on regular cab versions with a bench seat, brighter instrument pointers for the gauges and two new exterior colors: Dark Cherry Metallic and Deep Ruby Metallic. Silverado 3500HDs equipped with dual rear wheels receive new, larger 17-inch wheels that are available with bright wheel covers. For fleet customers, the 6.6-liter Duramax diesel engine is capable of running on B20 bio diesel.

The 2008 GMC Sierra 3500HD receives minor updates including standard XM Satellite Radio on all trim levels, an available power-adjustable driver’s seat on regular cab versions with a bench seat, and two new exterior colors: Dark Crimson Metallic and Sonoma Red Metallic. Silverado 3500HDs equipped with dual rear wheels receive new standard 17-inch wheels.

The GMC Sierra (and its Chevrolet Silverado twin) have been redesigned. The old model, called the Sierra Classic, is still available. These trucks are much stiffer and ride less comfortably than the standard 1500 (1/2 ton). They are designed for hard work and a 1-ton capacity. The ride is stiff and bouncy but the engines available are a huge 8.1-liter. Also available is an Isuzu-developed 6.6-liter diesel V8 that's relatively refined.

  3. The GM trucks are definitely the best choice. Great engine, good mileage, relaible, well rated, nice looking.....It's the truck to beat.

Ford F450s are overpriced and the Ford Navistar IH engines are very unreliable and very inefficient. My company has two that are completely unreliable junk. The only thing good about the Dodge is the Cummins engine, but that's the only good thing you'll find about the Dodge.

  4. American cars have horrible resale value. I would look at the Nissan Titan or Toyota Tundra. If you could care less about losing money Chevys and GMCs are more reliable.

  5. Look at the Chevy and Dodge. The Ford 6.4 is new for 2008 and definitely needs time to prove itself to be much more reliable than the disastrous 6.0! Drive the other two, see which one you like better. They will both easily do the job for you!

  6. Go with the Dodge with the Cummins turbo diesel!!!!!
