  1. Usually go as big as the termals will accept.  you need more info like what the amp is gonna be outputting before you can get any better help. remember bigger is always ok but smaller could leave you smoked

  2. I bought the Pyramid standard wiring kit. The car audio specialist told me that unless I have a huge system with major wattage, that is all you need.

And I bought it at a flea market for 17.00. You can find it on Ebay for cheap too!! About the same price.

  3. You choose according to the total wattage and number of amplifiers that it will conduct power to.  As far as wire gauge goes use at least as thick as what this page says: http://www.the12volt.com/info/recwirsz.a... but if possible get the heaviest (lowest number) gauge kit you can afford.  The main power fuse which goes next to the battery should be rated the same as or 1 step higher than the total of the fuses on the amplifiers so if you have a mono amp with 3 30 amp fuses and a 4 channel amp with a single 30 amp fuse the total would be 120 and the closest main fuse would probably be a 150 amp.  If you will have more than 1 amplifier you will need a kit that has distribution blocks to split the heavy main power cables up into enough slightly smaller cables for each amplifier.  A multi amplifier setup will also need enough sets of RCA cables and splitters/Y adapters to feed the signal to each amplifier along with a relay connected to the head unit remote on wire to take the load off of it as to high of a load from multiple amplifiers will fry the head unit.
