I need help converting vhs to dvd...?

Hey

i have a video (VHS) which i'd like to put onto my laptop.

the only things i have are a vhs player and a dvd player and of course my laptop.

What do i need do/buy to be able to put it onto my laptop

I know you can now buy a combi VHS-DVD player ive seen them for £100.00 you can play the video and record it onto DVD  - thats the way I would do it but - there is probably a way through your PC using cables and scarts and stuff - but you would need to ask someone else about that sorry - hope it helps xx
