I need help cooking!!!?

I am a horrible cook and everytime I try and cook something it either burns, or makes people sick!! I NEED HELP!! I need something easy to make!! HELP!!

  1. i recommend watching the food network, almost everything cooked on there is easy and nutritious..there free cooking classes pretty much..

If you want to learn then experimant. start with ingredients you know, and start simple. read cookbooks and or watch cooking shows. if you've tried many times and are still hopeless in the kitchen. take a look in a campbell's cookbook or internet site. I am a great cook come from italian background learned lots from my mom and eventually learned lots on my own, there was no way I was gonna cook from a can... but seriously campbells has delicious no-fail recipes, take a look.

    even kraft foods has great recipes...  

  3. Make some Ramen Noodles!

    You can cook them stovetop or buy them in a cup :) yumyum

    I like to add some roasted seaweed from the Asian Market for extra flavor, and then eat it with chopsticks to make it feel like an authentic Asian cuisine, for only about a dollar!

  4. Try using a cook book,....Stay right next to the food as u cook it too...

    dont over cook or under cook or they might get sick

    Chicken Rice Casserole

    INGREDIENTS

    1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

    1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup

    1 cup water

    1 cup uncooked white rice

    1 (4.5 ounce) can mushrooms, drained

    2 teaspoon  garlic powder

    ground black pepper to taste

    1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix

    5 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves



    DIRECTIONS

    Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).

    In a large bowl combine the mushroom soup, celery soup, water, rice, mushrooms, garlic powder and black pepper. Mix all together. Pour mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish and spread on bottom.

    Lay chicken pieces over soup mixture and sprinkle dry onion soup mix over all. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until chicken is cooked through and no longer pink inside.

    Shepherd's Pie

    INGREDIENTS

    1 pound lean ground beef

    1/2 cup chopped onion

    1/2 cup chopped celery

    1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed vegetable soup

    1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

    3 cloves garlic chopped

    3 cups mashed cooked potatoes

    1 cup shredded Colby longhorn cheese

      

    DIRECTIONS

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a 2 quart baking dish.

    In a large skillet over medium-high heat, stir and cook ground beef, onion, garlic and celery until juices run clear. Drain. Pour mixture into baking dish with vegetable soup and thyme; stir well. Spread mashed potatoes on top.

    Bake 20 minutes. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top and bake 5 minutes more, or until cheese has melted.

    Taco Salad

    INGREDIENTS

    1 pound lean ground beef

    1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix

    1/2 (14.5 ounce) package nacho-flavor tortilla chips

    2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

    1/2 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained

    1/2 cup ranch-style salad dressing

    chopped tomato

    chopped lettuce

    chopped green onion



    DIRECTIONS

    Place ground beef in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring to crumble until well done; drain. Stir in taco seasoning mix. Set aside to cool.

    Place chips into a large bowl, and crush into bite-size pieces. Combine with seasoned meat, cheese, beans, tomatoes, lettuce, and green onions. Pour dressing over all, and toss to coat.

    Three Layer Lasagna

    Lasagna noodles

    1 pound ground beef, cooked, and drained

    2 jars marinara sauce

    15 oz ricotta cheese

    4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

    1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

    2 eggs lightly beaten

    Cook noodles according to the package instruction. Combine cooked ground beef and 1 1/2 cup marinara sauce. Set aside. Combine ricotta cheese, 3 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, and eggs. Spray the bottom of 13x9 baking dish. Spread 1/2 cup of sauce on the bottom of pan. Arrange noodles, top with meat sauce and cheese mix. Repeat another layer of noodles and so on. Spread remaining sauce and 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese on the very top of the layers. Cover with foil and bake 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove cover and bake for another 10 minutes. Let it stand 10 minutes before serving. Serve with garlic bread.

  7. Hawaiian Baked Chicken

    INGREDIENTS

         12 skinless, boneless chicken thighs

         2 (8 ounce) cans unsweetened crushed pineapple, undrained

         1/4 cup sherry, or chicken broth

         1/4 cup spicy brown mustard

         1/4 cup honey

         2 tablespoons butter, melted

        1/2 teaspoon paprika

    DIRECTIONS

       1. Arrange chicken in a shallow baking dish coated with nonstick cooking spray. In a small bowl, combine the pineapple, sherry or broth, mustard, honey and butter; mix well. Spoon over chicken; sprinkle with paprika.

       2. Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees F for 35-45 minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 180 degrees F.


  8. Use a recipe, follow the instructions and measurements and cooking times and you should be fine. I'm a terrible cook too but I can follow a recipe. If you're making people sick, you might want to check the expiration dates on the stuff you're using.
