I need help deciding on Mountain Bikes.?

I have been tasked with trying to figure out what the best Mountain bike, which will be for around town usage. Major problem, I need a bike that is a very good bike for about $350 to $550.00. We have looked at Trek's, Specialized Rockhopper, and GT's. Any suggestions?

Get the Specialized Hardrock Sport it's a great bike and it can take a serious beating.

Those are very good brands. You can get a trek 4500 for around 350-550 dollars. Also try the specialized hardrock sport for around 500 dollars. I have used both these bikes before and they are very good for the price.

Personally this is the best place to buy a bike.  If you have a store close you can check them out but they have great prices and a big selection.
