  1. Go to your local community college and get enrolled for some basic, transferable classes.  Then go to the career guidance center and take tests to learn about your interests, your personality preferences, and see how you compare to others who have the same kind of jobs.

My career was listed as a number 2 perfect match for me.  I have never enjoyed my job more than this one!

  2. There's an old saying, most people don't really understand it's meaning or strive to do this until they get older.

If you don't love what you do, you need to find something else.

Too often young people set out on a path that their parents have set them on, or go on the advice of some school counselor or some survey designed to make you a good worker (as opposed to a happy person,) or are under the incorrect supposition that the best money is the "best job" for them. All the money in the world means nothing if you're not happy with who you are and how you spend your days.

So what do you love? I mean really love to do? That's your answer.
