I need help deciding what subs to get?

Question

what kind of kicker subs would i get on a low budget...like under 1000 dollars....im in high school and i want the loudest subs in skool so i need kicker but i cant go over the budget

honestly i had kickers and my friend had some rockford fosgate p3 15 inch subs and they were so loud you could here him from like 4 blocks away if u do buy these im not sure where you live at but get ported box and buy a amp that mtx makes called the arsenalit will slam columbus car audio if u have on where u live is selling the speakers but one get one free or go to columbuscaraudio .com

I found that db drive gold series are the best that i have had. I have had RF'S and they were really good just didn't push out the bass that i was looking for also i have some kickers and they are alright but i really don't trust stuff they sell at walmart. I would get something that they sell on the top market line but make sure that you get a high amp thats to get the bass you want.

Yea get like some L7 15's or something or 1 solo x of some sort. But yea i wouldnt advertise yourself to much cuz you woofers will get jacked. Why showboat your system to random people? I always turn mine down when i go in parking lots and stuff. I dont want people to know how much money i have invested in my system. You know?

They make the W7 ask questions. Diamond Audio is another great brand that gets over looked due to people not knowing. They are used in DB Drag Comps everywhere. But look into Elemental designs, the only thing is since you can not buy over the internet, you would have to send them check or money order. So you would be able to call them, they will get your order ready, and the day they get your money order, your subs are on the way that same day. Very good company, excellent customer service, and a 5 year warranty.

I must add, Kicker is extremely far from being the best, JL makes better subs than Kicker, and I can not stand JL. There is also RE, Kicker has nothing that will even touch their low end subs.

well sorry pal.. though kicker are a good brand , they are definetely not the best.. I've been an audiophile since i was in like sixth grade, have had at least a dozen systems, I'm now 28..and i've chosen Diamond Audio.. if you do the research, you'll find that they have the best sound quality and spl(loudest).. and you can get some for under 1000... i have two 15 inch DA d9 subs.. and i have never pounded this hard before and had it sound so clean.. most people havent heard of diamond audio, but trust me, do the research and get the best.. i've had kicker, pioneer, JL, JBL, Rockford, MTX and many more.
