i'd pick a blue or green color for the walls and then use the other color for accents.  for example, green walls and then your bedding could have blue/green stripes or maybe a mod floral print w/ brown, blue, green colors, same for the window treatments.  lowes has some really cool paint effects.  my bedroom is the shimmery Goddess (dark teal/green color).  it's a bit more expensive but i've received a zillion compliments on it.  the base color is navy and then the topcoat is a pearlescent green.  you can save $ by using a cheaper navy basecoat and then buying their green topcoat. they suggest you use a pricey roller for the smooth look but i took a rag and blotted it in the paint and then swirled it on, looks really expensive.

you should do like big horizontal stripes going around the whole room

but the colors would have to be light blue and light green you don't want it to be over bearing.

or if you don't want that, maybe like light blue at the top part of a wall and then like a a foot or two above the ground, a chair rail and below the chair rail inch thick stripes of blue and green vertically

I'd say if you like blue && green use strips like one be blue the other be green but they got to got up && down
