I need help does anybody no anything about sick ferrets?

my ferret on wednesday had a fever and turned red he swelled in the face and threw up 4 times and was just kind of laying ther he still ate and drank and his stool looked nomal today hes back to normal but pretty pale and his stool is a little abnormal he is back to being playful but stops and lays down more than normal anybody no anything please help!

If you can't afford to take him to the vet then you should call one and ask questions. Depending on how old it is, it could just be old age, or it could be sick from something else. It might be an allergic reaction, too. Call the vet.

If he's eating and drinking normally and his stool is normal, that's a good sign. I can't say I know a lot about ferrets, but I know a lot about animals in general. Here's some info, though!

*I do know that ferrets die in a very short period of time once they become ill and don't have vet care within 24 hours. One of the things that will take a ferret the fastest is vomiting and diarrhea.
