I need help explaining man's role in global warming?

I know we have cut down loads of trees and spünked billions of tons of carbon into the atmosphere, but can someone explain how the carbon helps to warm the planet.

What happens to it after it is released?

Does it float around until a tree converts it back into oxygen?

The earth gets warmer. Man feels the temperature difference.  Man blames himself.

What carbon and all that is doing is causing a 'Green House' effect.  The sun is bringing in the heat as usual but with the Carbon, it is keeping some of the heat in here and won't let it leave.

Thus making the planet warmer.

Some does go to the trees to be turned into oxygen but there is just too much and not as much trees.

Global warming caused by humans is a farce, with easily debunked scientific evidence.  The real reason for all the hysteria is too decrease the consumption of oil, because they haven't figured out what to do when we reach peak oil, which is not so far off.  Demand is increasing all the time, but production will eventually plateau, and then start to decline, the world economy will be thrown into turmoil, a loaf of bread will cost 20 quid, wars will be fought, nations will be destroyed, ever see Mad Max.  As for CO2 (a life giver, a nessessary ingredient for all carbon based life forms, like everything on earth) most of it is absorbed by the worlds oceans.  Incidently, +/- 98 billion tons of CO2 were expelled into the atmosphere last year, and about 6 billion came from man made sources, the rest is natural.

The Rainforests are the lungs of the world and converts carbon into oxygen - rainfall collects the carbon and cleans up the atmosphere we need more forestation as the magnitude of the changes we are imposing on the worlds climate with pollution is unprecedented in our history - the greenhouse effect is responsible for global warming.

Do not even know why geographical contour of the land for development.

Do not even know what is the life-cycle of high and low tides.

What a bunch of idiots out there in making a mess all for the cheap-skate glory of "Money, money, mponey" just "All for the money"

actually the carbon is a really bad, some toxicated chemical ,so trees don't need them much...n these stuff in atomic ways eats up n destroys the ozen layer..once destroyed it can't be replaced cuz there's nothin like that stuff which we have...this destruction allows the sun rays to enter without any protection...like burning yourself in direct heat or flame...these carbon do not help in anything it just makes everyone n everything just miserable...causing global warming, rise in sea level, cyclones, earthquakes....etc etc

Mankind's role in 'global warming' is negligible - only our ego dictates that we must be responsible. Fact is, the Earth has had many different climate changes overs millions of years, mostly long before homo sapiens existed.

We have little role in the earths climate changes.

I have found that Climate Change is a more appropriate name.

We are only in Global Warming during a natural Warming cycle, then we'll enter the Global Cooling during the next Cooling cycle etc...etc....

The climate change is earths natural warming and cooling cycles. We came out of a cooling cycle a couple hundred years ago. We will be starting a cooling cycle sometime in the future. THESE CHANGES ARE NOT DRASTIC by the way.
