I need help finding a book?

I need to find the name of a book about a girl who meets a boy from school who's not too popular and he is not from this world. Hes from a 2 dimensional world in other words (paper) and he befriends the girl and takes her into his world even though she wasn't aloud there.I don't remember much about the book but I do know that at the end of the book she tells the listeners that she married the boy and and she has to keep his secret for the rest of the life.

P.S its not "the time travelers wife"
