  2. Yuu means gentle

  3. Ichigo is a cool one!

  4. takahiro, i had someone in my class with that name once.

  5. Yumehiko (夢肥子/ゆめひこ)

Literally means "dream fattening/fertilizing child" so you can interpret it as a child who expands or creates dreams. I knew a guy whose name was Yumehiko... it's really a unique name.

  6. Japanese names are often unique to a certain historical period.  For instance, Yashamaru (夜叉丸) might be an appropriate name for your purpose, if he was a young person who lived in the 16th century.  This name conjures up an image of a youth who is dashing, yet thoughtful and talented.  However, this style of names are considered archaic.

If he lived in the Edo Era which is between 1600 and 1867, a name that comes to my mind is Kinnosuke that may be written variously as 金之助, 金之介, 金之輔, or 金之佑.  This name simply means "golden boy" who could be of samurai (worrier) class or merchant class.

If the boy is a contemporary person, he might be named Yukito (優喜人 or 優貴人).  The first one means gentle and joyful person and the second means gentle and noble person.  Both are distinguished, yet not overly unusual names and both conveys gentle, positive, and  strong personality.

By the way, I don’t know what you mean by “golden eyes”, but most Japanese, of  course, do not have literally golden eyes; they usually have very dark brown eyes.  Since the eyes of most Japanese are similar in color, the eye color is not something a Japanese would use to distinguish one Japanese person from another.  If you are talking about eyes with golden sparkles that you may find in some Japanese anime, that’s another story.
