Im about to be a junior in highschool, and i really want to find one job that i would like to go for. I know i want to do something in the medical field, but there are WAY to many to pick. At first i wanted to be a PA (physicians assistant) and then i sort of want to be a surgeon, but that takes a long time. and lots of money out of my pocket. So i need help just some ideas of what jobs out there are good, and what they are would help a bunch.

  1. Try to pick nursing to start off which is just a 4 year thing in collge and after that pick one on what you like best

  2. If you get 100 answers, each will give you different advice.  I can only relate my experiences.  I am a pharmacist for over 18 years.  After 5 years of practicing hospital clinical pharmacy, I decided to take the MCATs and become a doctor.  I worked in part-time pharmacy while in school.

My recommendation, choose an aspect of medical field that will give you satisfaction, stability, and  ability to pay back your student loans.  Many people in healthcare use previous fields as stepping stones for financial security and gain valuable hands on experience that will ultimately afford their patients with the best healthcare professional treating them.

    Best of luck!
