I need help finding a long explosion sound effect

Hi, I need to find a long explosion sound effect thats long enough so no one know that the sound effect is being repeated

take gas that u us for cars and make a long treak and then light it. it should last long. have a mic near it so u can record it. u might want to have some water.

another way is to take some fire work dip them in to gas. make sure that the match's/lighter's flam does come in contact with the dip part and dont dip the string. and record it

Burn some damp wood and record the fire's cracking sounds.

At your local CD store you can find CD's of sound effects. If you have a mac, some explosion sounds come pre-installed with Garage Band. Or you could get a microphone for your computer, find a YouTube video with a explosion, and record it into your computer. As for finding effects online, you won't. iTunes has some sound effect CD's as well... some probably have explosions on there. But online sources aren't to be trusted.
